LEGO NINJAGO Elemental Master minifigures: The past

As LEGO NINJAGO approaches its 10th anniversary, it’s important to remember the minifigures and characters that brought this theme to where it is today, including the Elemental Masters that inhabit NINJAGO.

LEGO NINJAGO has seen many characters, minifigures and minifigures over its 10-year history. But none have been as beloved as the Elemental Masters. It can be difficult for some to remember how many have appeared over time.

Not to worry, as Brick Fanatics is delving deep into NINJAGO’s history to find every instance of an Elemental Master, and which sets they can be found in. From the core cast to the most niche character, here’s every instance of a LEGO NINJAGO Elemental Master minifigure.

This list will contain spoilers for characters from LEGO NINJAGO’s various seasons..

Creation and destruction

NINJAGO’s primary elements include creation and destruction. They are important even though they are not elements.

Creation is the ability of giving life and creating from nothing. It is now quite common, even though it was used by only a few characters.

Lord Garmadon, Sensei Wu, and both have used this power for good or evil. They are direct descendants of the First Spinjitzu Master, who created the NINJAGO universe.

Both Sensei Wu and Garmadon have appeared in a great many sets over the years and can currently be found in 71718 Wu’s Battle Dragon and 71701 Kai’s Fire DragonBoth contain a Dragon, a NINJAGO-based creature that can use the power of Creation.

Destruction is a power that is more common in characters than it is among minifigures. Destruction is a power that acts as the opposite of creation. It destroys everything that has been built and takes away all that is living.

This power has been used by many characters, including Garmadon and Oni, the villain, as well as Mystake, who is the tea-shop proprietor. The minifigures do not include Garmadon. Mystake was featured in70657 NINJAGO city docks, and the Oni from 853866 Oni Villains Battle Pack.

Energy, darkness, or golden power?

These three powers, one of which is an element and the other two are only available to two characters. Lloyd Garmadon, the Overlord, and the green ninja himself.

Both darkness (or golden power) are the ultimate powers of light and darkness in the show. They have been used very rarely. They have never been used in any way by The Overlord nor the green ninja. Energy is Lloyd Garmadon’s elemental power and the most powerful elemental ability.

Coincidentally, both of these characters are included in the new 2021 NINJAGO heritage set71742 Overlord Draconian. This set recreates an epic battle between light & dark. Check out our review.

Fire, water, earth, lightning, ice

These elements are possessed primarily by the Japanese ninja, who is the most commonly seen minifigure in this theme. These powers are held Nya and Cole Jay, Jay Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, Jay, Zane, all of whom have appeared in far too numerous sets.

All of these characters can be found together in one set, with their mobile headquarters or home away. 71705 Destiny’s Bounty depicts a vehicle that has become a frequent set over NINJAGO’s lifespan and is the only currently available set to include all six ninjas, including a much younger Lloyd Garmadon.

Amber, smoke, shadow

Amber is one of the most interesting elemental abilities. It allows the user to touch any element to copy it. Although only one character has used it, their minifigure has been seen three times in sets. Skylor first appeared in Skylor in 70746 Condrai Copter Attack. Later, she was spotted in a new suit with the 853687 Accessory Set. Skylor was most recently seen in 70651 Throne Room Challenge.

Shadow makes it impossible for users to be seen in shadow, completely blending them together. Smoke transforms the user’s body into smoke, becoming intangible and unstoppable for a time. Shade and Ash used both of these powers to save NINJAGO. They were with Skylor in 853687’s Accessory Pack.

Speed and metal

The Elemental power of metal makes them truly immovable. They are transformed into a shiny metallic form, which transforms them into a powerful and long-lasting being. Karlof is the only one with this power.

Speed allows the wielder to move quickly and dodge almost all attacks. This power belongs to Griffin Turner, and both his and Karlof’s minifigures remain exclusive to 70756 Dojo Showdown

Mind and Time

The Elemental Master of mind has the power to read other’s thoughts and predict their movements. They can also distract them with a sharp headache, which makes it very strategic. This power was first seen in the 5004938 Bricktober Minifigure Pack. He was seen alongside the masters of Fire and time.

The most powerful ability in NINJAGO’s world is time. It has four main functions. It has four main functions. You can speed up or slow it down, rewind and stop time. There were two masters of time, who existed simultaneously. Acronix and Krux appeared as the main villains of 70626 Dawn of Iron Doom.

Wind

Another elemental master winds is another one that used their power to gain selfish ends, becoming a villain in NINJAGO. Morro was the antagonist of the 2015 Possession wave. He took on a ghostly form to enslave Lloyd because he was jealous of Lloyd’s selection as the green Ninja. Set 70743 and 70738 also included Morro.

Poisonous and dangerous light

Because their minifigures were directly taken from LEGO Ultra Agents, the Elemental Masters are more visually appealing. Tox, Paleman and Paleman were NINJAGO’s characters. Their Ultra Agents counterparts made an appearance around the same time.

Toxikita appeared in both waves of Ultra Agents in 70163 Toxikita’s Toxic Meltdown and 70169 Agent Stealth Patrol. Her design features a tank-top with a spiked collar and green marks on the skin. Invizable was a shining star 70167 Invizable gold getaway, where she could invisibly use her powers.

The NINJAGO characters are the same in both ability and design to that of the Ultra Agents villains, and their minifigures have only appeared in that theme’s sets so far. Both characters have been a part the show’s newer seasons, even after their Ultra Agents debut.

Nature, gravity and sound

There are only four Elemental masters left. Three of them will be appearing in a new set, 2021. Brick Fanatics was recently reviewed 71735 Tournament of ElementsIt will launch with the LEGO NINJAGO range of products on January 1. This new model includes three minifigures required to complete Elemental Masters.

Gravis is the ruler and master of gravity. He has the ability to control all natural forces around him. Gravis’s ability to control the natural forces around him can enable him to fly and lift other objects, or people, by changing their gravity or inverting them. Jacob is a master at sound and uses his sitar to produce sound waves to echolocate potential dangers.

The element of Nature grants the user the ability manipulate plant life and speed growth to trap enemies. Bolobo is the master of the power and completes this set. As he is bare-chested, his minifigure appearance is very unique to the show. It gives the character an even more natural appearance.

Form

Form is the last element of the NINJAGO universe. This allows the master of form to change their appearance or voice as they please. Chamille, the master form creator is not yet featured in any LEGO sets.

The LEGO Group has one remaining character, so hopefully they can complete this five-year-long series. Chamille was the last person to mention that she had been to hell. This could be a sign of a future on the side the villains but we can only hope it’s at least a minifigure.
